AMX 67 Imbattable historical reference
Toward the end of the 1960s, the French were using modern AMX-30 tanks capable of effective resistance against armored vehicles of a potential enemy. At the same time, they were developing vehicles with more impressive armor, among which was the AMX 67 Imbattable. The tank was notable for its powerful armament capable of striking targets a long range, as well as a high fire rate. The vehicle's key feature was placement of the gun in a low-profile turret with an overhead weapon station equipped with an autoloader. The project existed only in blueprints.
