WN8, WNX and every player’s languages, right in World of Tanks
The unicum.gg mod shows each player’s WN8 or WNX and the languages their clan speaks, in battle, in the battle results and in the garage, and brings your Twitch chat into the game.
Free and open source. You get the newest build, straight from the release.
Also on wgmods.net, Wargaming’s official mod hub, which currently serves 0.4.1 while a newer build is being reviewed
Features
In battle
WN7, WN8 or WNX and clan languages in the players panel, the Tab and loading screens and above vehicles, with team averages. Choose whose ratings you see per mode, or show them only while Alt is held.
Battle results
Both teams’ ratings and languages beside the results table, with each team’s average, anonymized players included.
In the garage
Ratings and flags in your contacts, profiles, skirmish rooms and Stronghold, and a tank menu button that opens the tank’s page, marks and build on the site.
Twitch, for streamers
Your Twitch chat, badges included, in the battle chat and in a garage panel. Write back from the battle chat’s TO TWITCH channel or the panel, without leaving the game.

Installation
- Download the archive and unzip it into your World of Tanks folder.
- Start the game. The first start restarts it once, to register the garage button.
Nothing else to install: openwg_gameface, which the garage features need, is in the archive and goes to the right place on its own.
Optional: modsSettingsApi adds the in-game settings window. Without it, the settings are in mods/configs/unicum/settings.json.
What the mod sends, and to whom
- To unicum.gg: the account ids and clan tags of the players on your screen, to get their ratings and languages. Nothing about them beyond what is already public.
- Linking your account is optional. It opens your own browser and signs you in with the game’s Wargaming sign-in; that token goes from the game to Wargaming only, never to unicum.gg.
- How you have set up your own tanks is sent as well, and shown on your unicum.gg page: equipment, directives, crew skills, field modifications, ammunition and consumables, for every vehicle in your garage. It is on by default, because those setups are what lets the site say how a tank is really played, and the mod is free and carries no advertising. Untick Share my loadouts in the mod settings to stop, and everything already sent is deleted.
- Your Twitch chat is read anonymously from Twitch. Messages you write go through unicum.gg with the Twitch permission you granted, which you can revoke in your Twitch settings.
Frequently asked questions
Is the unicum.gg mod allowed?
It shows public statistics only: ratings anyone can look up and the languages clans declare. It reveals nothing the game hides, such as enemy positions or reload timers, automates nothing in battle, and is distributed through wgmods.net, Wargaming’s official mod hub.
Which ratings does the mod show?
WN7, WN8 or WNX, overall or over the last 30 days, computed exactly like on unicum.gg and coloured by the same bands.
Does it work on the EU, NA and Asia servers?
Yes. The mod follows the server your game client plays on and asks unicum.gg for that region’s ratings.
Is it free?
Yes, free and open source, with no account needed. Linking your unicum.gg account lets the mod write in your Twitch chat from the game, and lets supporters keep their loadouts off their public page.
Can I hide the ratings?
Yes. Each screen can show ratings always or only while Alt is held, you choose whose ratings show per battle mode, and every surface can be turned off in the settings.
