Intra-clip reload

The short delay between two shells of the same magazine, which sets how fast a burst is delivered.

Also known as intraclip, shell reload, burst reload.

Between two shots of a magazine the gun waits out the intra-clip reload, typically two to four seconds. It decides whether a burst lands before the target can back out of sight or after.

Short intra-clip times make a magazine lethal against exposed targets, long ones make it a series of aimed shots that the opponent can react to.
