Terrain resistance

How much each ground type slows a vehicle down, quoted for hard, medium and soft terrain, where lower is better.

Also known as ground resistance, terrain stats, soft stats mobility.

Terrain resistance divides the engine's usable power. A vehicle with low resistance keeps its acceleration on grass and mud, one with high resistance bogs down the moment it leaves a road.

It also governs how fast the hull turns, since traverse is driven by the same power, so a vehicle with poor soft-ground resistance is sluggish to turn in exactly the places where it needs to be.

These are the mobility soft stats, and they explain most cases where a vehicle with excellent power-to-weight still feels slow.
