Reload
The time between one shot and the next being ready, or for a magazine gun the time to refill the whole magazine.
Also known as reload time, loading time.
Reload is the clock every gunnery decision runs on. It sets DPM, it sets how long a vehicle is exposed after firing, and it decides whether a trade is favourable: a shot fired against a gun that reloads in six seconds when yours takes twelve is a losing exchange even if your shell hits harder.
The loader's training, a rammer and a ventilation bonus all shorten it, and a damaged or injured loader lengthens it considerably.
