Engine fire
A fire started by a hit on the engine or fuel tanks, which drains hit points and damages modules until it is put out.
Also known as burning, fuel fire, vehicle fire.
A penetrating hit on the engine or a fuel tank can start a fire, at a chance printed on the engine's specification. While it burns it removes hit points continuously and injures crew, and it usually costs more than the shell that started it.
An automatic extinguisher deals with it instantly, a manual one has to be triggered, and improved fuel or a fire-fighting equipment loadout lowers the chance of it happening at all. Vehicles with front-mounted engines and large fuel tanks are the ones known for burning.
