CS-53/56 Wojtek historical reference
A project of the Military University of Technology in Warsaw in which the turret of a 56-ton tank was mounted on the chassis of the CS-53 medium tank. The vehicle turned out to be complex, low-tech, and expensive. As a result, the Polish military decided to focus on organizing large-scale production of the Soviet T-54, and the new tank went no further than blueprints.
