Type 71 historical reference
A battle tank project of the late 1960s. The vehicle was planned to be a scaled-up counterpart of the STB-1. It was developed with hydropneumatic suspension in mind that would allow to change ground clearance and increase the gun's elevation and depression angles. This was especially important in urban environments. The tank was also supposed to receive improved armor and a large caliber gun.
