Battles-based mode ratingMRB

The mode rating with battle volume rewarded instead of discounted, shown on the Rampage leaderboard beside MR.

Also known as MRB.

MR applies a volume discount, so a short lucky run cannot top the board. MRB replaces that brake with a term that grows with the battles played, so performing well and playing a great deal both count. It is scaled so its median lands at 1000 like MR's, which is what lets the two columns sit side by side under the same colours.

It is published for Rampage alone, and the reason is worth stating because it used to be the other way round. The column was introduced as a battle-royale rating, on the reasoning that a top-five finish is rare enough that doing it often is the achievement. That reasoning described Steel Hunter, and the figures behind the column were never Steel Hunter's: they are Rampage's, a 2015 event whose battles were multi-team, where a low win rate means several teams and one winner rather than a scarce podium.

It is also not extended to the other modes, for a measured reason rather than a cautious one. The volume term amplifies each mode's battle-count distribution instead of normalising it, so even after aligning the medians the spread stays mode-specific: the 85th percentile sits at 1.33 times the median in Clan Wars VI against 1.64 in Skirmish. One colour ladder across every mode would be approximate in a way MR's is not.
