Base capture
Sitting in the enemy base circle to accumulate capture points, where taking damage resets your own contribution.
Also known as capping, capture points, decap.
A vehicle inside the circle accumulates capture points over time, and up to three vehicles contribute at once. At a hundred points the base falls and the battle ends immediately.
Damage interrupts it: a capturing vehicle that is hit loses the points it personally contributed, which is why a single defender shooting into the circle can hold a base against several attackers. That is called a reset.
Capturing is often the right call and frequently the unpopular one, because it ends the battle before the rest of the team has finished farming damage.
