Encounter
A single neutral base in the middle of the map, which either team can capture.
Also known as encounter battle, one base.
Encounter removes the safe base behind each team and puts one contested circle between them, usually in the open middle ground.
It changes the map completely. Positions that were rear-area cover become the front, a stalemate is broken by whoever is willing to sit in the circle, and the capture is a real threat from the first minute rather than a late-game one.
