Efficiency ratingEFF
The first widely used community rating, built from account averages and long since replaced by WN7 and WN8.
Also known as EFF, efficiency, eff rating.
Efficiency combined damage, frags, spotting, capture and defence into one number, weighted by tier. It was the standard for years and is still quoted by older players and older mods.
It rewarded volume statistics that a patient player could farm, which is exactly the criticism that produced WN7, and then the per-vehicle approach of WN8. It is kept here because the word still turns up, not because anyone should be measured by it.
