Double-barrelled gun
A gun system with two barrels that can fire one shell at a time or both together in a salvo.
Also known as double barrel, twin gun, salvo.
Double-barrelled vehicles load two shells and choose how to spend them: alternating single shots for steady damage, or a salvo that fires both at once for double alpha.
A salvo blocks the gun for a long cooldown afterwards, so it is the same trade an autoloader makes, compressed into one decision per reload.
