Autoloader
A magazine gun that must empty its clip before reloading it, all at once.
Also known as auto loader, clip gun.
An autoloader fires its whole magazine in a burst and then reloads every shell together. There is no partial reload: whether one shell is left or four, the timer is the same, so a magazine held back is damage held back.
It rewards timing above everything. The vehicle is at its most dangerous the moment the magazine is full and at its most vulnerable immediately after, which is why autoloaders are played in and out of cover rather than in sustained fights.
