Three-marking
Playing a vehicle deliberately to reach the third Mark of Excellence, which requires sustaining top-five-percent combined damage on it.
Also known as 3 marking, marking a tank, 3 marks.
A three-mark run is a project. The moving average behind marks rewards consistency over spikes, so a session of good battles moves the percentage a little and a session of bad ones takes it back.
It changes how the vehicle is played: damage and assistance are maximised over everything else, including, notoriously, the outcome of the battle, since marks do not care whether the team won.
