Passive scouting
Spotting from a stationary concealed position, using view range and camouflage rather than speed.
Also known as passive spotting, passive scout.
A passive scout parks in a bush at the start of a battle and stays there. Standing still and not firing keeps concealment at its best, so the vehicle sees the enemy long before the enemy sees it, and the whole team shoots what it lights.
It is the safer and usually more productive way to scout: assistance damage accumulates with no risk, and the position stays useful for as long as it is not discovered.
