Bush
Foliage that adds concealment while a vehicle stays behind it, and that turns transparent for a moment when the vehicle fires from close range.
Also known as bushes, foliage, bush camping.
A bush between a vehicle and an observer adds to that vehicle's concealment, and several bushes stack up to a limit. Sitting behind the right bush is what lets a tank destroyer hold a lane it could not survive in the open.
Firing gives it away. When a vehicle within roughly 15 metres of a bush shoots, that bush stops concealing it for a couple of seconds, which is long enough for an observer to spot it. Firing from further back keeps the bush intact, which is the whole reason for shooting through distant foliage rather than from inside it.
