Aiming circle
The circle drawn around the crosshair showing where the next shell can land.
Also known as reticle, aim circle, crosshair.
The circle is the visual form of current dispersion. It expands when the vehicle moves or the turret turns, contracts as the gun settles, and its radius on the target is what a shot is actually gambling on.
Reading it is a core skill: a circle narrower than the enemy's turret is a shot worth taking, a circle wider than the whole vehicle is a shell spent on nothing.
