Pubbie
A player in the public queue, used to distinguish random battles from organised clan play.
Also known as pub, randoms player.
Pub is short for public: the open queue anyone can join, as opposed to a clan format where the fifteen players are chosen and briefed. Pubbie is its inhabitant.
The word usually carries an implication that nothing can be coordinated, which is what makes random battles and Clan Wars two genuinely different games.
