On Track
A recurring event that discounts one tech tree line and pays bonuses for researching it.
Also known as on track event, on-track mission.
An On Track event picks a Tier X and puts everything leading to it on discount, with extra experience and credit missions along the way. Grinding that line during its event costs substantially less than grinding it cold.
It is worth planning around: a line researched off-event is money left on the table.
