The reality is this Clan is just here to have fun. In the real world we don't actually kill hippies. But in the pseudo military World Of Tanks we thought it would be a bit of fun to save the world, and because many people think of hippies as communists, and we are always fighting the reds, and the tanks are very much WW2 or old cold war era machines, why not save the world from the hippies and the commies? So the Hippie Killers were born.
