Strv K historical reference
In the mid-1950s, Sweden purchased Centurion Mk. 3 tanks from the United Kingdom. At the same time, Sweden was developing its own KRV project when the decision was made to combine the ready KRV chassis with the Centurion Mk. 10 turret. Work on this vehicle was carried out in June 1959. However, production proved to be too expensive. The project was discontinued, and Sweden continued to purchase British vehicles.
