The Defenders of Sovereignty was created on January 9th, 2001. It originated as a Star Wars-only gaming clan encompassing a whole host of games, and now encompasses a variety of game genres of varying settings and styles ranging from shooters to MMO's and many other games in between. During its decade-long life-span, DS has seen countless clans come and go, alliances rise and fall, clan separations that would cripple lesser groups, but through it all DS has stood strong and triumphed over whatever was thrown its way.
