Premium tank
A vehicle bought rather than researched, which earns extra credits and trains any crew of its nation without penalty.
Also known as premium vehicle, prem tank.
Premium vehicles sit outside the tech trees. They come fully upgraded, they earn a credit bonus over a comparable researchable vehicle, and a crew from any vehicle of the same nation can be moved into one without the usual retraining penalty.
That last point is what they are really used for: a premium at the same tier is the standard way to train a crew and to fund the vehicles that lose credits. Most sit at Tier VIII, where the credit earning is best.
