Die Panzerdivision Müncheberg wurde 1945 mit modernsten Panzer ausgestattet wie z.B. Panther, Tiger, Stug, schwere Panzerjäger und Waffenträger und nahm an der Abwehrschlacht Seelower Höhen und der Verteidigung Berlins teil.
