Le Royal 22e Régiment ou R22eR est l'un des trois grands régiments d'infanterie des Forces canadiennes. Les militaires du régiment sont surnommés les Vandoos à cause de la prononciation de « vingt-deux » avec un accent anglais ; par extension le régiment est surnommé The Vandoos surtout par les anglophones. Chez les francophones, le régiment est souvent appelé tout simplement 22 ou 22e. C'est le seul régiment d'infanterie régulier entièrement francophone au Canada. Le régiment comprend cinq bataillons, dont deux de réserve. Dans la Force régulière, le R22eR a deux bataillons d'infanterie mécanisée et un bataillon d'infanterie légère comprenant une compagnie de parachutistes.
