History:
The N°10 IA Commando was raised in spring 1942, it was formed with Troops from different nationalities and each Troop had its number.
N°1 and N°8 where French
N°2 was a Dutch
N°3 also called “X-Troop”was composed of Germans and Austrians (nearly all being Jewish) as well as Hungarians, Romanians or Czechoslovakians, all German speaking.
N°4 was a Belgian Troop
N°5 was a Norwegian Troop
N°6 was a Polish Troop
N°7 was a Yugoslavian Troop.
