Hailing from a small province on the northernmost coast of Africa, -near the Thyrrhenian sea,- Cainim was a prosperous, Technocratic Federation. Thanks to it's governing body and location, it became one of the best-known port and trading hubs of it's time. With such wealth come inherent risk as well, especially due to their location. Of all of Canim's military power, some of it's most known -and feared- were it's armoured units, drawing resources from nearly every major producer of armoured vehicles from before the third great war.  
Of course, as with all things in this turbulent time, everything must come to an end. With the outbreak of another massive war for control of areas outside the badlands, Cainim was an obvious choice. Within months of a declaration of war the federation was sacked and any remaining forces disbanded, save for one; One of the few remaining highborne reserve units. Without a home, the wander now, rescuing refugees of this war and searching for a new home.
