# Yolo

Charging into a position with no support and no way back, usually ending in a fast death and occasionally in a won flank.

Also known as yoloing, yolo rush.

A yolo is a commitment made without information: driving into a cap circle, rushing a corner alone, pushing before the [flank](/glossary/flanking.md) has been spotted. It is the most common way a battle is thrown in its first two minutes.

It is also, occasionally, correct. A yolo onto an [artillery](/glossary/artillery.md) position or into a collapsing flank at the right second decides [battles](/glossary/battles.md), and the difference between the two is whether anything is following.
