# Onslaught

A seasonal seven against seven Tier X mode with role-based abilities and a rank ladder that resets each season.

Also known as comp7, competitive 7.

Onslaught puts seven players a side on a reduced map with a fixed roster of roles. Each role brings an ability, and points of interest on the map can be captured to unlock more, so the mode plays closer to a team shooter than to a random battle.

Progress is a rank ladder, from Iron up through Champion and Legend, with the top of the board published per region. A season resets it, so a rank describes a season rather than an account.
