[Glossary](https://unicum.gg/glossary.md)/[Ratings](https://unicum.gg/glossary/category/ratings.md) # ELO The paired rating a clan carries per Stronghold tier and on the Global Map, where each battle moves points from the loser to the winner. Also known as elo rating. ELO is the chess rating, applied to [clans](https://unicum.gg/glossary/clan.md). Every clan starts from the same figure, and a battle transfers points between the two sides: beating a clan rated far above you moves a lot, beating one far below moves almost nothing. Losing works the same way in [reverse](https://unicum.gg/glossary/reverse-speed.md). It is Wargaming's own number, one per [tier](https://unicum.gg/glossary/tier.md), and it is what the game matches clans on. That makes it a measure of results against the field rather than of roster quality: a clan that queues constantly against weak opposition climbs slowly but steadily, and one that only plays a handful of hard [battles](https://unicum.gg/glossary/battles.md) can sit high on very little. ## See it on the site [Stronghold ladder](https://unicum.gg/clans/stronghold/t10.md) ## Related terms [StrongholdA clan's own base, built from buildings that produce industrial resource and unlock reserves, and the battles fought to supply it.](https://unicum.gg/glossary/stronghold.md)[SkirmishThe short Stronghold battle format, fought seven against seven or ten against ten at Tier VI, VIII or X for industrial resource.](https://unicum.gg/glossary/skirmish.md)[AdvancesThe fifteen against fifteen Tier X Stronghold format, where clans attack each other's bases in scheduled events for a larger share of resource.](https://unicum.gg/glossary/advances.md)[Clan WarsThe campaign layer where clans fight for territory on a global map, with landing tournaments, province income and reward vehicles at the end of a season.](https://unicum.gg/glossary/clan-wars.md)[ClanA persistent group of players with a tag shown next to their name, which is the unit every organised mode is played as.](https://unicum.gg/glossary/clan.md) [Every World of Tanks term](https://unicum.gg/glossary.md) ## Navigation - [unicum.gg](https://unicum.gg/index.md) - [Discord](https://discord.gg/Hqbfb8YPbU) - [GitHub](https://github.com/unicum-gg/unicum.gg) ## Indexes - [llms.txt](https://unicum.gg/llms.txt): the API, the MCP server and the other machine-readable surfaces. - [llms-full.txt](https://unicum.gg/llms-full.txt): the same, with every endpoint's parameters inline. - [sitemap.md](https://unicum.gg/sitemap.md): every section of the site, down to the individual pages.
