saw service in the French army from 1943 through 1944. In 1944, 36 vehicles of Régiment colonial de chasseurs de chars under the supervision of Silvère Seurat, a naval artillery engineer, featured naval gun sights that allowed for increasing the firing range to 3,000 meters.
