Pamięci Generała Maczka.  
W kwietniu 1919r. zaproponowano Maczkowi, by – wykorzystując swoje doświadczenia i żołnierzy – utworzył "LOTNĄ KOMPANIĘ SZTURMOWĄ". Oddział ten (częściowo wzorowany na austriackich "Jagd-commando"), tworzyły 4 plutony strzeleckie i pluton ciężkich karabinów maszynowych i moździerzy, dysponując możliwością szybkiego przemieszczania się na silnych wozach parokonnych po-austriackiego taboru jednostka była szybsza niż wszystko inne co na froncie widziano. Wielu żołnierzy tej jednostki pochodziło z powiatu krośnieńskiego.
