Mit Distributed Computing (engl. für Verteiltes Rechnen) kannst du dich mit deinem Computer an Forschungsarbeiten z.B. in der Klimaforschung, Astronomie oder Medikamentensuche beteiligen.
Wie kannst Du helfen?
Um an der spannenden Welt des Distributed Computings teilzunehmen und die ungenutzte Rechenleistung seines Computers zu nutzen, kann man eine Software installieren, die die wissenschaftlichen Berechnungen durchführt. Es gibt auch Projekte, bei denen — ähnlich wie bei einem Computerspiel — die wissenschaftlichen Analysen von dir selbst durchgeführt werden.
