Anadolu Parsı (Panthera pardus tulliana)
Boyu 200-250 cm, ağırlığı dişilerde 35-50 kg, erkeklerde 45-70 kg civarındaydı. Yaklaşık ömrü 20 yıldı. Çok çevik olan Anadolu parsı, et oburdu ve geyik, yaban keçisi, yaban domuzu, küçük memeliler ile kuşlar gibi hayvanlar av yelpazesini oluştururdu. Anadolu parsı, Doğu Akdeniz ve Doğu Anadolu bölgelerinde, daha çok ormanlık ve dağlık alanlarda yaşamıştır. Doğal yaşam alanları ve av kaynaklarının azalması parsları insanların yaşadığı yerlere yönlendirmiş ve bu da genellikle vurularak ya da zehirlenerek öldürülmelerine yol açmıştır.
