Husaria – doskonale zdyscyplinowana kawaleryjska formacja bojowa siejąca spustoszenie na polach bitew XVI i XVII wieku. Husarze byli dumą armii polskiej i postrachem wroga – niezależnie czy była to piechota, kawaleria czy strzelcy. Odziani w ciężkie zbroje, uskrzydleni, z kopią w ręce a mieczem i pistoletami u boku stanowili niszczycielską siłę.
